Can you introduce yourself with a few sentences?
I am Suvi-Elina and I work for Samuji in Helsinki and New York. I manage the company's sales and marketing.
What inspires you?
Art, travels and my son's imagination for creative play.
What do you like the most about your work?
Being surrounded by inspiring and talented people every day, as well as products and a brand you believe in and care for.
How did parenthood change your life?
I have understood what unconditional love means.
How do you like living in Helsinki as opposed to living somewhere else?
There is no comparison for raising a child in Helsinki as opposed to all the other places I have lived in. Social services, health care and the level of early childhood education is amazing.
What do you dream of right now?
Warm summer nights.

I live in Lauren Manoogian's knitwear, Martiniano's shoes and all things Samuji! The Line is an inspiring website.

What place do you want to visit and why?
Okinawa island in South of Japan for its fascinating mix of Chinese and Japanese cultural heritage.
Do you have a yearly tradition that you are particularly fond of?
I love Christmas and all the traditions that come with it.
A good piece of advice that you have kept in mind?
Treat people like you would want to be treated.
Favorite city and why?
Tokyo and New York. Both cities are endlessly inspiring and diverse.
What are you looking forward to in 2017?
Hopefully a change in the political climate.

Flowers and surprises.

My grandmother's wedding ring.
